Revlon Photoready BB cream

I purchased the Revlon BB cream for my holiday as I wanted a light base to wear daily and as this had factor 30 in as well I was sold!
I brought the shade light medium as I wanted it to be the right colour match when i had a bit of a tan however it does come up a little dark on me. If blended well though ( I use the real techniques buffing brush) I can get away with it.












I like the coverage that this gives and the fact that it doesn't cling to any dry patches of skin, however I do like to powder this BB cream as it can get a bit oily throughout the day.
Overall i really like this BB cream and I have been wearing it everyday as a lovely light base.

Lightscapade

While I was on holiday in Florida I picked up my first Mac mineralise skin finish in 'Lightscapade' it is a beautiful highlighter that gives a subtle glow to the cheekbones and can also be used in the inner corner of the eyes and as a brow highlight
















I like to apply it with my real techniques contour brush from the core collection or with a small fluffy eyeshadow bush where needed.

Balmi Mint Lip Balm

I have always wanted to try these dome shaped lip balms so decided to pick one up when I was in boots, at £4.99 they are not the cheapest but I love how quirky they are. I picked up the mint version mainly because I liked the colour of the packaging best and because this one is mint it has a tingling sensation on the lips!

Mac Velvet Teddy

Mac's Velvet Teddy lipstick is a peachy, slightly brown/nude colour with a matte formulation. Despite the fact that it is matte I don't find it drying at all and it lasts a good time on the lips. This is a very everyday shade that could be worn with lots of different looks.

Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara

What drew me to this mascara in the first place is the gorgeous packaging but not only does it look great, it works great as well! The shape of the brush means it adds both volume and length to your lashes. The only problem with this mascara is that too much product comes out on the brush so if you don't scrape it off then it can make your lashes look clumpy. Other than that I love this mascara and its one of my favorites!
